Meagan and Rob tied the knot at the 1757 Golf Club recently. It was a beautiful fall day which tied in perfectly with Meagan’s theme for the day. Her parents gave her a gift of weathervane. As she comes from New England the maple syrup “favors” made a very appropriate gift. Delicious cupcakes were provided by Red Velvet Cupcakery – but as Meagan and Rob support rivaling football teams she had helmets from the Indiana
Emily & Brandon were married at Walker’s Overlook in Maryland recently. My first time shooting there – it’s gorgeous and I’d love to go there again – hopefully when the weather is not so cold. Here are some images from their day. In spite of the cold windy weather a great time was had by all. Emily and Brandon had a really unusual groom’s cake. I believe they were driving and stumbled upon a family of baby possu
I photographed Haley earlier this year. What a beautiful person she is (inside and out). We had a great time together. She is a senior field hockey and lacrosse player and looking forward to college next year … location “to be determined”.
Ally & Dave married recently at the Carnegie Institute in Washington, DC. Ally made a stunning bride. Her dress was so unique. It was a ball gown in ivory colored raw silk designed by Ramona Keveza from their Legends Collection. The unique belt was by Marchesa and purchased separately. The skirt of the dress was affixed with a button and actually detached from the gown so that when Ally was ready to “party”
Amanda and Dave got married on August 9th at McLean Presbyterian Church, McLean, Virginia. with the reception at the McLean Ballroom. Amanda looked absolutely beautiful. For something “old” she had her aunt’s brooch sewn onto her dress and her earrings matched perfectly. It was a very happy occasion and there were many “tears of joy” throughout the day as reflected in these images. We had a full team at this wed
Ally & Dave are getting married in October and I had fun spending time doing their engagement shoot recently. It is evident they are crazy in love and I hope I captured some of their romance and passion. So looking forward to being part of their special day and wedding which will be at the Carnegie Institute in Washington, DC.
The Bailey family came to the studio for their annual family portrait session. I had the privilege and honor of photographing the Baileys on their wedding day a few years ago, then again a year ago when their daughter Gracelyn was born. Gracie has just turned one – what a delight she is. We had fun photographing her with her birthday cake. We were also joined by Remi of Loudon County K9 unit.
Jenn & EJ were married on April 12, in Arlington with the reception at the Fairview Marriot Hotel in Falls Church. Jenn looked stunning. It was a wonderful wedding with friends and family – and everyone had a great time. Brian Lusby assisted me in photographing this wedding and some of his beautiful work is shown below.
